Who Is The Author?

My name is Sofie Jacobs — an avid writer, psychology student, and believer on a mission to bridge the gap between mental health and spiritual wholeness.

This blog was born from my personal experiences - my fears, frustrations, questions, quirks and pain.

Growing up, I had a lot of questions: Why do we feel so broken? Why do prayers sometimes seem unanswered? Why do Christians suffer alot?

These questions led me on a journey of self-discovery and healing.

This blog is where psychology meets spirituality. It's where you’ll find hope, healing, truth, and encouragement to walk both mentally sound and spiritually grounded.

Each post is a reflection of some of my most vulnerable moments with God; my endless questions, his wise responses and some of the lessons learnt.

Whether you're anxious, confused, tired of overthinking, or just curious — you're welcome here.

God’s Quill exists to help you understand your emotions, heal from trauma, and grow in faith — all at the same time.

I pray that each post comforts, inspires, and points you back to the Father.

I am consistently blessed by the words he speaks through me and I hope you experience same blessings.

Now, asides writing for, to and about God, once in a while I like to indulge my intrusive, quirky thoughts. I then put my findings to writing...

I hope you don't mind:)

When I'm not writing, I'm probably taking a walk, daydreaming, or talking to myself.

Asides the evident love I have for Jesus, I also love Rice, Psychology & Mango. These are the easiest routes to my soul.

As you indulge my articles, I hope you get as much value as the Lord intends, I hope your mind gets stimulated & I sincerely hope you laugh a little too:)

Happy Reading!
