What do you do when God says no to the one you love?
I know there’s a high possibility that this brewing relationship pulls me away from you, but I love how he makes me feel so much, I fear I may be willing to take the chance.
I love the way he looks at me while I laugh at his jokes, it makes me feel seen.
I love the way he holds me when we hug, it makes me feel safe.
I adore the way he listens to my ideas and opinions, it makes me feel valued.
We could literally stay up all night talking and laughing about the most random things.
He thinks I’m funny and I genuinely appreciate that.
He thinks I’m really smart even though sometimes I feel it’s too much credit.
He remembers the little details about random things I’ve said and makes silly jokes from them.
He gets petty sometimes and for some weird reason, I love it..
We have our inside jokes and coded names for people we don’t like.
We have so many memories together; moments of genuine joy and freedom trapped in pictures and videos.
Everything feels perfect, it’s like we were made for each other.
Sometimes, It feels as though the entire world is rooting for us.
Our friends think we’d make a terrific couple, outsiders accuse us of already being a couple, he told his mother about me and she thinks I’m very beautiful and small — but very beautiful…
Everyone including him and I believe we should be together — well, everyone except you Lord.
Yes, I hear you…loud and clear.
I feel the look of disapproval on your face each time I bring up his subject.
I feel the lack of peace — your peace.
I hear you in the songs and sermons, subtly telling me to let go of this illusion of love.
An illusion?
Illusion: Anything that seems to be something that it is not.
